SIMPLE GLOBAL EXPORTATION
Colombia is poised for an agricultural industry-wide scale-up to meet global consumption and exportation demands. Due to a staggeringly diverse geographical countryside with an enormous variety of climate conditions, altitudes, soil profiles, rainfall, sunlight, and agricultural traditions, Colombia can support year-round harvest. However, the country still underperforms in ag sector investment, but all that is about to change.
By the decade's end, ongoing infrastructure projects will connect the country's roads with the Pacific and Atlantic coasts, enabling direct exportation to US, Asia, and Europe markets. With Colombia's infrastructure set to improve massively, look for Colombia to become a significant player in the global ag industry soon.

AT-ORIGIN MODEL: BENEFITS FARMER & ROASTER
Competitive prices & efficient logistics
Sourcing with HEIRLOMA™ Coffee Farmer Collective you receive direct remote, farmer access, plus the support of experienced international logistics and a professional quality-control team. If you’ve have ever connected with a small farmer and tried to get their coffee to your roastery in your country, you probably know that it is extremely difficult, time-consuming, and risky to do-so without outside help that puts financial strain on both parties.
Full traceability & transparency
At HEIRLOMA™ Coffee Collective, we are farming neighbors who see now another regularly and able to produce as much content traceability as needed to show the end consumer from where and whom their coffee comes. For transparency, while most importers that are willing to provide FOB price they paid the exporter, we are able to provide figures down to the farm level and even the farmer's cost of production in some cases.
BRIDGING THE DIVIDE - ENABLING FARMER-direct
Just as we aim to assist farmers who don't have the scale to export and import on their own, we also understand that roasters who source a pallet a year from a farm probably can't justify a trip down for a face-to-face with a small farmer. Therefore, we try to bring the two extremes of the supply chain as close together as possible.
